Your liver has some regenerative properties, and I've heard that if you smoked for any length of time and quit, after a few years your lungs MAY be able to repair themselves if no permanent damage has occurred.

Regenterative organs include the skin and liver.


Peripheral nerves are also regenerative.

these are the organs in which a certain segment or cluster or cells remain in a dedifferentiated form i.e can actively synthesize new cells when need arises otherwise remain dormant. when an injury occurs to such organs these cells move form resting "gap phase" of mitosis to s or synthetic phase and new cell formation occurs,thus regenaration.found predominantly in lower forms of life like hydra,starfish.in human,regeneration capability is limited to certain organs like liver only,while nerve cells are full non regenrative,that is damage to them is permanent. skin is also partially regenrative.

I suppose the skin would be one of them since it has a healing process from cuts.
