ok ppl what do you think about the hispanic thing that american ppl are talking about . do you realy think that hispanic should be send back to mexico . are we realy a big problem here in the usa .

No I don't think they should be sent back to Mexico. Conservatives keep arguing that Hispanics are living off of the government without paying taxes, but the truth is they DO pay taxes and they DO NOT receive government benefits. Plus, they help our economy and they do jobs that no one else would do. I say we make the immigration process easier, so that more people can enter the states legally. We have the most living space out of all of the core countries, so why not allow people to move here? After all, isn't the United States the land of the free where everyone can come and have equal opportunities?

Economics, pure and simple...
Someone on this question responded that illegals pay taxes.... HMMM.. HOW? The very essence of paying taxes is a SSN, and illegals can't get one, at least not their own..
Another mention was that illegals, don't get public assistance... HMMM... then how do they manage to rent places under SEC 8 programs of the Welfare depts.... Only if you are under a certain income level and qualify for food stamps and welfare can you rent under section 8 programs.. Using a phony SSN to boot....
Or, how about the nations prison system.... 27% of the entire NATIONS PRISONS are illegals convicted of a felony, and this does not take into consideration the misdemeanor charges that put them in county lock-ups for a few months. OH, who did you say pays for their care.... Themselves??? OH, that's right TAX Dollars of people who have their OWN SSN.... How about the school system around the country. We have such a massive shortage of teachers, and why do you ask?? Could it be that the illegal population has increased so dramatically over the last 10 years that the student teacher ratio is upside down.... Especially teachers who are bilinqual.
Now, lets look at what happens when American's go to foriegn countries....
IF we try to go across any border without a passport and proper documentation, we go straight to jail, do not pass go, and we had better hope that their is an American Consulate in that country to help us get home.... Or we will find our lifelong mate in the cell next to us....
Heaven forbid if we don't speak, or a least communicate in the countries language. You take a trip to France, for example and see what happens when you don't speak French, see how well received you are....
Bottom line... People apply for citizenship and/or visa's to enter this country legally. Many wait for years to be allowed to join in the same constitutional rights as natural citizens. Then we have the illegals, who cross into our country, breaking our laws, using up our tax dollars having babies here so that those born here are citizens, hoping that will somehow give them leverage against deportation, or somehow make them "more legal", and they don't even have the RESPECT ENOUGH TO SPEAK OUR LANGUAGE AND FLY OUR FLAG... THAT IS BS AT IT'S WORST.
IF you want to be a part of this countries productive society, then you do it the way everyone else has too, legally. You learn our language, you pledge alligence to our Flag, and you earn and pay your dues just like everyone else. You can still send your money back to Mexico, no sweat off my back, but you had better show this country some RESPECT.

Mexicans, Hispanics, whatever your race is, is not the problem. The problem is your ILLEGAL...

Illegal aliens of any race are a big problem. My grandma works in a hospital in the nursery and she says that 60% of the patients are Hispanic. The bad thing is that many of them are not legal citizens yet they receive welfare and do not have to pay a dime. This is taking away from the legal citizens who pay taxes. Maybe if both governments weren't so screwed up this could be corrected.

I live in the suburbs of Chicago and my neighborhood has turned into a completely latino neighborhood. It used to be peaceful around here but now i lay awake listening to fiesta music being blasted until 5am. There is always litter around after these parties. Not saying that it's the whole Hispanic race's fault, just stating a fact that a lot has changed since they have come. Many of the adults do not speak English. That is absurd when considering that is the official language.

If you want to come to the land of opportunities, do it the right way. Learn our language, history, and pay taxes because you are killing our economy.

I never thought that it was fair that People from some Countries are welcomed and some are not. My guess is that it is the massive amount of People. Most are working illegally, and therefore pay no taxes. Which means those of us that pay taxes, have to make up for the slack, which makes it difficult on the American People. But then there are those Who are using the Social Security Cards of deceased People, so They are paying taxes. Many are on medicaid which is costing tons of money, again to the tax payers, and tying up the Hospital Emergency Rooms, because They can not get off of work in the day time, so if there is an illness, They choose to take Their Children at night, to the Emergency Rooms, because it is free. Then there is the added expense in all of the Schools, having to pay extra Teachers to teach them how to speak English.

There should be a better way.

Illegal immigrants should go home because they came here ILLEGALY. I know an adult school ESL teacher who is a LEGAL immigrant from India. The students in her class(mostly mexican illegals) did not know that Indians could not just walk over from India. The illegal immigrant Mexicans are being unfair by not allowing other people WAITING IN LINE to come to this great country. They dont even realize that people from other countries cant come here illegaly like they do. Then they come here burn our flag, steal our tax money, don't speak English, and demand rights?

BTW, I am not against immigration because my mother and father were both LEGAL immigrants from India who came the right way, love this country, got jobs, did not take free everything from here, and became citizens. I think it is totally unfair that these illegal Mexicans come here and steal our tax money.

We will continue to experience Mexican immigration issues as long as we refuse to acknowledge one important fact; there a two basic Mexicans coming into the U.S. “A” is a person who truly wants to become a citizen of the U. S.; “B” wants to remain a Mexican citizen, but sees the opportunities in the U. S. job market.
“A” wants to meld into American society and learn the English language; National customs; celebrate American holidays and embrace all of America as his own land, with allegiance to no other.
“B” wants to remain a Mexican citizen body and soul. His allegiance remains to Mexico. But he wants to come to the U. S. to find work and make a living. There is nothing wrong with this.
We have been doing this for decades. U. S. citizens seek work in everything from oil pipe laying to electronics to mining to scientific experimentation and more. Much, much more.
These U. S. workers do not want to become citizens of the countries in which they work. And likewise, neither do the type “B” Mexicans. They just want to make a living and then go home.
It’s our Government that insists on treating these “B” workers as citizens with access to medical and financial aide just as any citizen would have. This is neither necessary nor desirable since it treats one nationality in a unique way unfair to all others in the World.
It must be made clear to the Type “B” Mexicans that they will receive the protection every human is entitled to under the laws of the U. S. But those services and privileges reserved for U. S. citizens should be kept special and should not be extended to “B”’s.

No. I think illegals should be. This include those that allow their Visas to run out. Come here legally and go through the loops(as hard as it is) and You are more then welcome.
