Last summer I applied for financial aid and was granted a certain amount for the fall/winter 2006 semesters.
Due to some difficulties, I was unable to attend during that time period. I was wondering, if I decide to go, can I use the money I was granted instead of or in addition to the coming bill?

Yes but you must file a renewal application. I've seen it done many times, I worked in a college.

Do you mean the fall 2005 semester? If that is the case, then no. You can only use aid in the academic year it is granted. It does not roll over to the next academic year.

You can't use the money if its for a different term. You are going to have to fill out another FAFSA. And then hopefully they will award you some more grants and loans, the amont is not guranteed.
