My brother is turning 21 in August. Currently, he has no license so he cannot drive, he has no job, he spends the whole entire day in his room laying on his bed, doing various things on his laptop. He is finishing up online college courses because my parents have made him stop. He stays up to 4am in the morning and sleeps late, and pretty much is not interested in anything other then playing on his cpu and talking to people. He believes he will start making money and move out on his own but honestly, I dont see how thats anything near a reality. He has been living this way for about a year or so, and it is horrible for his health. Any suggestions as to how to get him to "get a life" and get him out of his room?

Well....This Is A Bit Difficult but not impossible wat i advice is:-
1)He Might Surely Be Interested In Girls....(Hopefully)So You Take Him Out n Intoduce Him To Some Girls

2]What Are His Interests...As You Said He Sits Whole Day Doing Some Thing On Laptop....Well Then Ask im If He Wants To Do Something In Computers.....If Not....Then Introduce Him To Some Computer Experts This Way He May Learn Something.......
3)Hmmm... He Miht Surely Have Some Dream(Every One Has One)Ask HimAbout It n If You Feel You Can Let His Dream Come True Then Challenge Him!!!Ask Him That When He Will Start Working You Will Fulfill His Wish Or You Cud Say That If You Join Some Course(Computer)...Then You Will Make His DreaM cOME True....
4)Take Out Time From Your usy Schedule n Sit With Him For An Hour Or 2 n Observe What He Does....On Laptop Or You Cud Even Share Some Of Your Personal Things With Him Like Telll Him Your Secrets Or Talk to Him About Your Life...N Then Ask Him About His........(Hopefullly He Will Tell)
5)Introduce im To Some Of Your Friends n Let Him Mix Up.....May Be When He Goes Out he Will See That The World Is Runnig Very Fast........n Now Its TRime For Him To Work(Dont Know Wheather It Will Work Or Not)

Hope My Advice Helps You......By The Way I M 14 Right Now n Dont Know Wheather This Will Help You Or Not...But Still I Told You What Ever I Had In Mind n yES oF iT dOSENT wORK DONT LOOSE HOPE.....!!!!!

Take him to a concert of his favourite band, he can't reject that, and then make him meet a girl (it works! at least to my friend!). Hide his laptop, he will have no choice than to get off his bed. Show him the real fun of going out, or ask him what kind of 'business' he's working on and show interest about it and if he says "get out" spit it all on his face tell him what you think and if he doesn't listen to you, talk to your parents about it and convince them to talk to him. Sometimes talking works, you just got to give it a shot. I know there are differences between this movie "Failure to Launch" and the real case but it could help you to get some tips. I'm not a professional but you need to talk to your parents about it, and talk to your brother. I had a similar problem that my sister went to school and gym but was all the time depressed and didn't care about anything at all, she became lazy and really started to get even more depressed. I talked to her about my problems to my sister and somehow I attached her problems to mine in one conversation and turns out that she started to seem to be a little happier. I hope that you can solve this problem and well I wish you lots of good luck.

Talk to him on how you feel. If that doesn't work, get a doctor involved... it's def. not good that his life is being wasted away. Just remember, even as hard as you might try, you can't control what he does so just do all that you can and hope it works. Good luck!
