1. Pick workouts that YOU LIKE. I love my "Step" class because it's more like dancing, and I love dancing ... I love my BOSU class because it's funny to bounce on the ball, and I learn to balance myself ... I love Kick-Boxing because it's fast, and I get balance, strenght, and lot's of cardio .... I love Yoga because it's slow BOSU, and Kick-Boxing providing streching techniques to sooth my muscels ... In short, I do this all because I've found fun aspects to every class.

2. Everytime you hear yourself complaining (out loud, or in your head), run to a mirror and say, "This will be soooo fun to work out!".
3. When you have to miss your scheduled workout ... then compensate by walking after every meal (10 min's).

okay i know this for a fact. Many ppl try to starve themselves, which only makes the problem worse. Eat your meals, dont over do them though have your basic side dishes, vegetables, some type of meat, and something to drink, water. Avoid Sodas, Choclate, salty foods and anything with loads of fat calories. For snacks you could eat dry cereal. Listen to music while working out it helps best, it gets you into the mood.Working out daily and seeing the results in the mirror gets you pumped..because you want to continute improving your appearance. You have to be mentally tough not really phsyical...but you can develop physically.Eat right and excercise alot it keeps your mind thinking "I can do this...im ready to get fit...".Start off simple nothing crazy! Build your way up and rest every once in awhile. You dont have to go out in the morning i run at night...or lift weights or whatever.Situps and crunches help alot to. Diets never work...they are sometimes a waste of time. Eating healthy and staying fit will increase your heart rate and believe me you feel alot better about yourself!

You shouldn't have just one workout routine if you're working out by yourself. You should change it up a little. And if you can, play a sport for fun in exchange of a workout. Get some of your girlfriends together for a game of basketball. I've seen girls (who can't really play) play basketball, and they seemed to have fun.

Or, you can play volleyball, soccer, or just go for a jog. But doing the same thing over and over is a sure way to fail a workout routine. Mix it up a little.

There are going to be days when you just don't feel like getting started. When I started back at the gym I knew this would be the case from my experiences in years past. So I established a policy that I sometimes repeat aloud to myself. "No Whining Allowed. If it is the scheduled day to go, then no whining, just go."

You have to decide if you want the results enough to do what you know you need to do to get them. If you are going to be ruled by feelings rather than thoughts, your life will be miserable and useless.

Now get your a$$ up and start your workout!

Try to get someone else to work out with you. Movtivate each other. Make it a competition. Whoever does more sit ups gets a cookie or something.

Variety is important. If all you do is job or lift weights, you'll give it up. Change your excercise regularly. Go to step aerobics one day, go swimming the next. If you always do something different, you won't get bored.

do different types of workouts, running, weightlifting, yoga, etc. It'll make it more fun. You could also work out with someone but make sure that person will help keep you motivated and not quit working out herself/himself. hope this helps!
