I caught the end of an Everybody Loves Raymond repeat this afternoon... it was the episode where Raymond's brother got married. After Raymond's best man speech, the couple went to the dance floor to share their first dance as husband and wife. The narrative had me believing that it was going to be a slow romantic song, but instead it was a fast retro number. It was very sweet and unexpected. If I had the first dance thing to do over again with my spouse... that's how I'd do it.
