1) I think they are afraid.
2) They might more than we hear though the media.
3) They do not have the separation of Church & State as we do. I'm not sure they understand the concept. Because of that lack of understanding they see us as pretty bad people. They do not know all of us are not wild, evil, crooked, degenarates. What we see as freedoms to do or not do, they only see the worst. They do not understand how we allow all the corrupt behaviors.
I think I'm making it too simple & nothing in this world is.

If there non extremists Christians, Jews why dont they speak out against their murderous brethren, who kill women and children in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Serbia, Kashmir, Russia.
Mate dont just post questions think and look whats happening around !!
All communities have their good and bad people some get pushed to aside, because of the situation let me ask you one question if someone rapes your wife (god forbid) will you forgive him.
There are a lot of things which are happening which we dont know which the media does not report do you know how many rapes and murders of civilians happened in Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan ? only one got reported to US army or got publicized what about all other millions of such incidents
I am not justifying violence but there is a reason for everything, so if the Christians, Jews stop their governments Muslims will stop their extremists.
You can hit back with the argument who started all this I tell you read the history !!

Actually knowledgable Muslims, the imams and Islamic groups have spoken out regarding the issue of the so-called Muslims killing innocent people. There are many Islamic groups that issued a joint statement regarding terrorism. The problem is that not many international medias cover the news about statement issued by the Islamic religious groups. Even certain Islamic countries held an international forum regarding terrorism. But not many people know because there are not many media coverages.

We do speak out against them because we don't like the idea of Islam being turned into a religion of terror when it is naught but one of peace. However the media nowadays just focuses on the bad rather than the good in the world. However the same question could be asked for Jews, Christians, and any other religion in the world.

Fear. The subservience of the Muslim people is the #1 priority of worldwide Islamic terrorism. For a thousand years, thugs held the people in bondage, and they were utterly controlled by one tyrant or another. Now, more Muslims than ever are waking up from their long sleep and yearning for freedom. This terrifies the thug class, and terrorism is their answer to liberalism. Bombing infidels is mainly for show; if Al-Queda told their recruits that Muslims were the real target, rather than some real or imagined foreign adversary, they wouldn't have a quarter of their numbers.

Maybe they're afraid of the retaliation of the terrorists. If that's true, then they're a sorry bunch of pitiful weiners. You don't make the world right by protecting your own ***. Sometimes you have to stand up, and sometimes... you get shot down.
Eventually, alll the evil done by these stone age pork-for-brains will reach a saturation point in the world consciousness, and people everywhere will say "we've had enough." They will start to figure out that these Islamists are, if not evil, pathologically and psycopathically anti-social... because they get off on decapitations and skinning humans. People are going to realize, if these back alley thugs win, that will be our future.

they do, the mass media just has no interest in peaceful muslims. I live a couple hours away from detroit, which the northern parts have the highest number of muslims in the US and they just want to practice their religion in peace.. raise their families and do normal day to day things... there could also possibly be problems with the extremist muslims who live nearby if they were to speak their minds openly.

They don't and they won't. They can not focus on what they want as they don't know. They don't want the americans in Iraq, but they want someone different than Saddam. They don't think in any form like we do. Americans have fought for their freedom and these folks just fight to kill each other. They all agree that they don't like americans. They don't know what they want, they just want chaos and fighting. The US really needs to take military rule over Iraq and dictate to them for a few years until they can grow up a little..

If you are a Christian, why don't you spend all your time speaking out on Fred Phelps? You must support him, obviously.
Come on. Some people and their violent or disgusting attitudes are simply beneath contempt, and not worth denying because they are so obviously not what your religion is about.

extremist Muslims are actually very rare.
Muslims are just like you and me, and they do speak out, it's just that the media doesn't want us to hear.
