actually i just tell him my problem, but will never ask his money..i'm not dat kind of girl..

Tell him to give you cash and you will deposit it. Don't share accounts until you are married. And even then me & hubby had separate accounts and bills we paid from our own accounts (we both had good jobs tho) we only went to 1 account when I stopped working after our second son was born. Remember finances are the #1 reason married ppl fight...i don't see why it would be different for dating couples

That's a good way to get ripped off later. I've been engaged & my girlfriends never had access to my bank accounts. A boyfriend or girlfriend never has any viable reason to need your account numbers. There's always options like cash, checks, or money orders. However, you would be wise not to let a boyfriend help you with your finances at all, as it may build resentment & lead to the destruction of your relationship. I've loaned girlfriends money before when they were in tight spots, & we're no longer together. The best solution is don't discuss finances with him, because he will try to give you money. It's that protective instinct. Also, above all, never ask a boyfriend for money. I don't know if you have or not, but it's at least as bad an idea as telling him you're in financial trouble, because he will again try to give you money. Save the financial talk for the parents.

Well, it really depends on your relationship. I have been with my boyfriend for over 3 years and we both know eachothers account number, pin numbers, passwords etc. and we trust eachother with that information. Even if we were to break up I would not feel the need to change any of it because I know that he would not take anything from me or screw me over in any way and I would never do that to him either. However, if you hardley know him or still don't trust him with that kind of information then don't give it to him. Chances are if you have to ask it is probably not a good idea, like the others said, tell him to give cash.

Girl Please. If he wants to give you money, he can give you cash. I wouldn't give a man access to my account unless I had his last name and a marriage certificate. I would just be a little hesitant. DON'T DO IT Girl.
