GOD is PERFECT.
God does many things to take care of His Chosen.
His lack of tolerance to sin has lead to many scary events. Times have changed, we now have a Man that stands between us & God. This man Jesus Christ has taken on all of God's discilpine so we are perfect in his eyes & require no such events to correct the earth or it's inhabitants.
Do not confuse the Old Testament Law with the New Testament Salvation.

First of all,
GOD is PERFECT..and for that, there's no mistake!
Second,
GOD works is not for us to explain or judge.
Maybe, Those born Egyptian children would have a better place with GOD rather than to be raised.
The flood was to wipe out sinners and those who would not obey.. do you want to live in a world full of sin?

If that will result in your salvation -- I apologize :)
The odds are that it wont (result in your salvation). So I take back my apology..
Any people who died in the Noahic flood were sinners who were in a state of constant rebellion against God -- they were not innocent.
The first-born Egyptian children below the age of innocence were taken by God to heaven (based on the doctrine of "age of innocence") where life is vastly superior to anything those children would have experienced in Egypt.
Cordially,
John

Why is it that non belivers are quick to blame God for everything that goes wrong, yet never actauly consider praising him for doing things right? If he were truly as evil as you say, do you think he would really allow you to defame him in such a childish and vulgar way? I say you get on your knees and thank him for not sending a great lighting bolt to get you right where you sit!

Ok he does not make mistakes God NEVER NEVER sinned nore did Jesus. And the plagus was beacause Moses didn't let his people go. And the floods It's because he allows it. The Devil did that.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only son for who so ever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life"

Those things were punishments by God upon people who were seriously sinning. All of those people were warned, but their pride (Especially the Egyptian king) kept them from doing God's will.
God does not owe you an apology. You should check your own pride.

The flood of Noah ended a wicked and sinful generation that deserved to die. "The wages of sin is death." As for the first-born of Egypt, it was Pharoah's fault for not changing his ways. He could have saved his son from death. He allowed it to happen. Don't forget that people killed God's only begotten son on the cross, too.

God is all powerful and all knowing. Thats what christianity teaches. All the bad things that happened to people in the bible were as a punishment or for some greater good.

God doesn't make mistakes. All humans have sinned. God can not tolerate sin. Therefore, all humans will die, whether it be a peaceful passing in their sleep or a calamitous passing in a natural disaster.
As for an apology, forgive yourself.
