When you purchase a new car from a dealership in California, how do you get the registration, title, and license plates? Does the dealer submit your registration and will you receive the title, license plates, and registration stickers in the mail?

Yes, all the info is sent by them to the DMV. They will then send you the paperwork and license plates. You won't get the title though unless you paid cash in full.

Yes the dealer submit the info to the DMV, the DMV send your stuff to you in the mail. If your car is financed you will not get the title until it is paid off. The finance company will have possession of the title until the car is paid off

The absolutely free reverse vin check sites generally provide fake information. To get real information, money will have to be paid. The free searches provide fake information so they can get your email address to send spam.

Stay away from shady reverse vin check sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable reverse vin check site like http://www.reversevincheck.net that has been around since 1995.

If you purchase it from the dealership, it is their responsibility to register the vehicle with your state's DMV and they also should be getting you the plates. Double check with your state, though, as each state is different, but I'm 90% sure that's the case in CA.
