I keep hearing about this "god" person. I did some research and learned that more people have been slaughtered in the name of this god person than for any other reason in the history of mankind, yet when I try to track him down I'm told to look at some book or i'm told that it's some invisible man in the sky ( i think i have a little more common sense than that)
Whoever this god person is, he's well-funded and seems to be more protected than osama bin laden. I know he's out there somewhere because alot of people swear that they have regular conversations with him.
He needs to be tracked down and brought to justice!

ok, as requested, I looked up the word christian. I also looked up the words Bahá'í, Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, Jehova's Witness, Judaism, Mormon, Shinto and Zoroastrianism.
All have claims to know the "truth".
Which is right, somebody please tell me.

Here is my scientific theory of God................God is the first piece of dust in existence. God is the energy in which created us, the earth the universes. God is evolution, god is a nebula, God is the mass of everything. So to Actually look for on single "person" or "entity" would simply not work. Sorry I tried to make sense.

Variations of this "question" have been "asked" dozens of times here already. The "question" contains gross distortions about the bible and true Christianity. Here are a few Scriptural thoughts to consider:
(Romans 16:17) Keep your eye on those who cause divisions and occasions for stumbling contrary to the teaching that you have learned, and avoid them.
(2 Corinthians 4:4-6) The god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers
(Philippians 2:14-15) In among a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you are shining as illuminators in the world
(1 Timothy 6:3-5) If any man teaches other doctrine and does not assent to healthful words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, nor to the teaching that accords with godly devotion, he is puffed up with pride, not understanding anything, but being mentally diseased over questionings and debates about words. From these things spring envy, strife, abusive speeches, wicked suspicions, violent disputes about trifles on the part of men corrupted in mind and despoiled of the truth

" Jesus Christ and Him crucified ", is the Story of the Bible. Every Doctrine must be built upon that Foundation
which constitutes the house built upon the "Rock".
Otherwise it is a house built upon the sand. Jesus is the
"Rock" & Foundation you must build your life upon. No other foundation will keep you standing strong. You must be convicted of your sins by the Holy Spirit, you cannot find God unless you obey the Holy Spirit. When you come before God & repent of your sins, because of the "Cross" your sins will no longer exist. They're washed away forever & you start a new life. The Holy Spirit will guide you & teach you in the right way. God tells us we can find Him when we search for Him with all our heart. He hasn't gone anywhere, He's waiting for you to come to Him. Thats with honesty & a sincere heart. God truly loves you.

Sarcasm.....makes ya wanna go hmmmmmmmmm! Seeing I have no idea who you are, where you live, I can only ask do you ever attend wedding, funerals, or baptisms? Where are they held?
I find in so many cases people who love to put down the belief in God, and run down Christians are also the ones that celebrate weddings and funerals in a church with clergy presiding.

You know, people always remember more of the bad than the good. Worst service in a restaraunt, bad drivers, etc.
But, how many Best services or drivers do you remember?
GOD has saved more lives and given life to FAR more than are "lost". AND they are NOT lost...GOD's followers have a place at His table. I am going to get the best service when my tme comes....I hope to see you there.

I know, god has killed more people on earth than any other living thing or deity. He portrays lucifer as a bad soul yet his only crime was being a teacher in the garden of eden. This deity needs to be brought to justice!

If I went out and killed someone and said I did it in your name should you be the one that needs to be brought to "justice" or should it be the person (me) who needed correction? seems to me you have a lot of hostility to God because of things done in "his name" but did it ever occur to you that those who did it in his name were not even serving him but instead where serving themselves and their own will? You might also take notice that Jesus never told any of his disciples to go out and kill anyone, NO we are instructed to SERVE others. Seems to me you need to rethink your whole statement because it doesn't make much sense to punish someone for the actions of another.

ok :)
For scientific and intellectual evidence for the existence of God, see http://www.godsci.org/gs/godsci/evidence.htm
I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html ).
Cordially,
John
