Fever. Shouldn't be anything major. Have him take a lukewarm bath (not too cold to make his chills worse and not too warm to make the fever worse). Let him relax and have him drink lots and lots of water. Maybe eat a little bit too. If he still feels short of breath and has fevers and chills by tomorrow morning, call your family doctor. I've had this happen to me or my sister a million times and my mom is a nurse. That's what she always does with us. You can put a little bit of Epsom salt in the water too if you have any. It doesn't make the water feel too different, but it's really soothing. Give him two tylenols to break the fever as well (depending how old he is, I'm assuming he's over 12, if not, only one tylenol). If you take him to the ER now or anything, you'll just be paying $50 or $100 just for them to tell you the same thing.
Good luck! I hope he feels better soon! Fevers don't normally last more than a couple hours (that's why you should call the doctor in the morning if it's continuing, because if it lasts longer than a couple hours, it might be connected to something more serious). My guess is that he will be fine though. A nice bath and relaxation should do him fine. :-)

Take him to the doctor for a proper diagnosis. It can one of several things such as, infection (air, viral, etc). Fever is an indicator that something is wrong. If you are living far away from the hospital, you might want to give him a hot cup of tea (mint). Since he is cold, make sure his feet are covered. Check his temperature every so often and if it's way above normal body temperature which is 37.5, rush him off to EMERG. The high fever can caused confusion, hallucination, etc. Don't stick around, It could be a serious matter. BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY!

This is serious. IF the big three - air- breathing- circulation are threatened by sickness run to the phone and dial 911 and get him to an ER or TRAUMA CENTER and be quick.
If he has not taken any drugs- street or Scrip you must get him to tell you the truth... the doctors need to know what he has been doing in order to treat him correctly, lying about anything at this point is asking for a misdiagnosis or at worst, death. Get a doctor to see him NOW. Be sure to take a list of everything he says he has taken for medicine and any allergies... Go !

Take him to the hospital. There is a strand of flu going around that has severe symptoms and it is recommened that you recieve medical treatment for it. I would take him in the hospital, if you don't then you need to watch him closely tonight and keep him warm. Beef or chicken cube flavors (broth) would help too.

Wow, take him to a doctor. If he really thinks something may be wrong, you need to take him ASAP. Fever and chills can be related to a serious infection, among other things. Good luck!

Being sick can raise your blood pressure. High blood pressure can make one short of breath.
What is his temperature?
And what town are you in? I got a 103 fever on Sunday.

I have that prob. He might be having a panick attack - or maybe he has low blood sugar & is having an attack from that. Give him something sweet to eat - see if that helps. & maybe you should take him to DR.
