It will spread eventually. It is an autoimmune disorder so you cannot cure it, but there are creams you can use to prevent the spread of areas which are already affected. Go see your doctor about those treatments and get proper instructions on how to prevent further spread of the white spots. Good luck.

i have vitiligo and hasn't gone away with my treatment yet i was given 2 creams Vytone and Elidel. if you keep up with the treatment it should not spread but it also just depends on your skin really. it not a thing that you can Get rid of the next day.
It is something that is genetic. sometimes it gets worst and sometimes it will go away over a period of time though like mouths and years.

Yes there is UV treatments for Vitiligo... my family all has varying degress of it. Yes it can spread, the question of how soon varies from individual to individual. It usually is predetermined. But the treatments that the dermatologist can give you will be benfitial in restoring the natural pigment.

I have Vitiligo and it does spread. "Regular" doctors usually
says that there is no treatment that works . How ever a lot of people say that they have been helped by homeopatic medicine.
Like for instance "dermabest".
