the medical knowledge in the world's most developed countries is roughly equivalent -- with research specialties distributed across many nations. most doctors: probably the US. a better statistic to ask for might be most doctors per capita.

an interesting tidbit: i live in australia and recently heard the head of emergency at sydney's royal prince alfred hospital say on a program: "bottom line, if you come into an emergency department anywhere in australia, your chances of survival are better than in the USA or the UK."

don't know if it's true, but it's encouraging!

monoco has the most doctors per capita (664 for every 100,000)

but i don't know what you mean by knowledge of medicine...south korea is up and coming in medical technology, a high percentage of indian immigrants become doctors, and the US has arguably the best medical facilities.

cheers!
