Okay! Three years ago my guy friend moved 6 hours away! We've kept in touch ever since then. He told me he liked me, but i didn't think anything of it because i didn't have feelings for him! Well he visited the other day and we talked and caught up. I realized i love him after getting to know everything (the good, bad, and ugly) about him. But he lives so far away! We are very close! Should i tell him? Would it ruin our friendship?

I wouldn't tell him in so many words but there are ways of expressing love without saying it. If he has the same feelings, he will pick up on the subtle ways you show him love.

When he liked you, you didn't like him but now you are interested...Try and figure out if he still feels the same way about you and if he has a new girl in his life. If he likes you, then go ahead and tell him how you feel.
If you are not sure, take the risk and tell him how you feel. Bear in mind that if his feelings have changed it might make things a bit awkward for a while.
Even though he lives far away it can still happen. However, you need a long term plan. Every relationship needs the physical presence.You can keep it going by constant communication, phone, email, hand-written letters, poems etc. Plan to meet once in a while. But you should both be committed to the relationship for this to work because you will still meet other people and be attracted to them. Finally, ask yourself if your friendship can survive should the relationship not work.

You will not ruin your relationship since he has the same feeling with you too.
Yes, better you tell him that you loves him and discuss what will you do best thing together for the long distance relationship.
But one thing you should know is long distance relationship is mostly not work out...both of you have to prepare for it or think the strategy to avoid that will happening to you both.

Wow it sounds like you're describing the plot of a movie. I think you should tell him. If you two really have a good relationship now it will survive even if he doesn't feel the same way. You didn't even think about cutting ties with him when he told you he liked you, did you? And he probably still likes you anyway.

Maybe it's just a passing crush, something that will diminish over time. Or Maybe it's your true love you've been waiting for.
It is incredibly hard to break that "just-friends" barrier. And honestly, it is hard to go back to that after a relationship with said "just-friends" goes sour.
Why not keep talking with him and maybe he'll open up his emotions (if any) a bit more as well.

i dont think that you should tell him that you love him just yet i think that you should ask him if you to would have a chance at a relationship cause if u tell him that quick he might get scared off then when you date a while then i would tell him
