My Family Used To Breed Dog And We Quit About A Year Ago SO I Know A Little About This...When Dogs Are In Heat Its Sorta Like They Are On Their Period....The Length Of Time Differs With Diff rent Dogs..Much Like With People.....And AS For U Delivering The Puppies There Are A Few Things You Need To Watch Out For...First Make Sure That U Breed The Dog With A Dog Equal In Size Or That Will Cause Complication...You Can Always Breed UR Dogs at Home But When IT Comes TO Delivering The Puppies I Highly Recommend Letting A Vet. Do IT Because With Dogs There Can Be Many Complications.....Hope I Helped

People should only breed to "better the breed" and this is only for actual "Show people". You are just a backyard breeder and are only doing it b/c you want money and think it will be cute to make puppies. Don't do it. There are 30 million animals put to sleep each year, why contribute to that? Also, if your dog is an actual "pet that you love" then why are you risking her life? She could have complications, need a C section (which I am sure you can't afford) and it increases her chances of breast cancer and unterine infections. Why would you put these risks to something you love? Because you are selfish and apparently dumb. Don't breed the dog.

If you have never bred a dog before, this isn't the place to obtain information. Your dog will need veterinary care no matter what. I highly recommend you go to your vet and obtain all the info you need. You can be sure it's accurate and you understand all the money and work involved in breeding. If your dog is not a purebred, your vet might even ask if you have a plan for placing the puppies in good homes.

Please learn more about breeding before attempting it, there is so much more to having a litter than just the actual breeding. There are many good books on the subject, try looking at dogwise.com.

Please do some research. We kill 30 thousand unwanted dogs a month. I buy the ugly dogs in the show litters. Please don't breed. We do not need more puppies. Please.
