If you've been together for 5 years then I would assume that you two are confident in your relationship. And if he wants to take her out to dinner then you two should discuss it. You two should talk about how you feel about it and decide if it would be alright for your relationship. And to me, it is just dinner. I dont think it is anything more than that. If it bothers you though, then tell him that in a tone that is of the concerned nature, not an upset one. If you just communicate properly then there will not be a problem as long as you two consider each others feelings.

That's a question for him to answer - not you! The fact that he asked you the question means that he has on some level already committed to the idea atleast of taking his ex-girlfriend to dinner.
If you two are in a committed relationship - the question should've never come up.
Your response should be to him -"I don't know, can you take her out to dinner - it's not your question to answer!
You should be thinking about your reaction if he does - he probably will regardless of your answer - maybe he hasn't made up his mind about his ex-girlfriend or the relationship that he has with you now!
Tell him how you feel! Be honest or not - it's up to you!

You just say no way! That is one thing that should never be considered in a relationship. Do you think he would think it would be ok if an ex boyfriend of yours went to dinner with you? Oh by the way, you look great!

ok first of all let me say your a very hot girl, anyway back to your problem idk about that but thats definetely a NOT!! good idea since hes been a long time with you he'll prolly like to try something different and if he takes her out and she likes him chances are they'll start dating, anyway of this happens don't worry your a hottie and won't have trouble finding someone else, maybe you can find a better bf cause if he betrays you like that then he doesn't deserve to have you. P.S. i might be wrong on my advice the odds are against you

Say something like "well mabey..." and look at his expression. If its like jumpy something might be going on. But if he looks like he could care less u have nothing to worry about. But member if he stayed with u for 5 years, why would he turn around and go back to his ex who he was most likely unhappy with.

If you're not invited, I'd say no. Unless you know her, honestly I wouldn't trust her. But that's just me. Go along and if your boyfriend doesn't understand and thinks you don't trust him, you should ask him how he'd feel if it were the other way around. She has nothing to say to him that can't be brought up in front of you.

What kind of man is he ? I mean 5years is a very long time with such a beauty , and i am sure you will be having many more qualities. make sure does he really loves you. If it makes you feel weird than this issue needs to be tackled and if you feel OK with that then let go.

Say yes, where are we going? And if he does not want you to go you should say that you are going to dinner with your ex or a guy who gave you a great answer on Yahoo.

well if you trust the guy and you have been together for 5 years then let him do it. if he asked your permission then he must be going into this with the right intentions. Trust is hard sometimes but showing and giving trust fortifies a realationship even more.

Well let me be perfectly ohnest with you, if you trust him and he is obviously isn't hiding it from you I don't see why it should be a problem. If he were to try and hide it from you or if he has a bad track record then I would see a problem. Besides he would have to be a fool to cheat on a woman as beautiful as you. Good luck!
