Talk to three veterans from each agency. Go volunteer at the VA hospital maybe. Maybe write some veteran articles interviewing people for a paper. Make sure you talk to people that liked each service as well as hated each one. It will take some time and energy but we are only talking about the rest of your life here. There are other ways to give devotion to your country, ie police, fire and political arenas. Think about the guy on the ground in Serbia. Think about taking a 50 caliber bullet or two or three for a politician who may or may not have your families best interest at heart. If you join the Air Force you will be powerful, whether you do the right thing or wrong. Power is not always accomplishment or happiness. If you just want to fly buck up and pay for your lessons as a civilian. But talk to some ex pilots, and not just the recruiters friends or people still in the service. Hopefully some ex pilots will write in. What do you want to do? Fly? Computers? Defend democracy? We all know you want to impress your girl friend ( or boy friend ) and your parents. If you are female you need to talk to some woman veterans. Write back in twenty years and tell us all how it went. Good luck, Good flying.

What do you want to know, and it's not out of 95 by the way its 100. Life is pretty good. It's a lot like a civilian job for most specialties. They take very good care of you versus other services or even the civilian world. Are you thinking about a specific job? What are your interests. Depending on your GT score you can qualify for some very interesting stuff. Also, have you considered an ROTC scholarship. With scores like that I asume you'd be in the running. If you're going career you really do want to be an officer. Also, AF deployments right now range from 2-6 months for 98% of jobs that deploy at all.

Air Force life is like being a civilian with a pretty blue uniform.

If you want intellectual studies do the Air Force
If you want to be a common Doggy Soldier join the Army
If you want wear bellbottoms and swab the deck of ships, go Navy
And if you want to change your whole life, be tested to the max of your physical and intellectual abilities, they might allow you to join a select group of Men and Women that they call

United States Marines

But hey, if you want to take it easy.. by all means join the Air Force. It really isn't that bad, and they have the best chow in the services. I do remember visiting an AF base range one week. They were to take us out to their ranges and see our shooting techniqes. When we arrived at the first range, the Marines looked at the targets etc. Stacked our rifles and took out our pistols. The Air Force guys were wondering what we were doing. And we said that we were going to do the pistol exibition since we were at their pistol range. Imagine how funny it was when the senior AF guy says that this is their Rifle Range.... Ahem.. guess it may only be funny to those that know how to shoot.

Thanks for asking, and good luck in whatever of the
great branches you decide on.

Life in the Air Force, is just completly awesome. Sure, I've been a AFBrat for what, 22 years now? I'm still trying to get my *** into the AF. Suppose to retake the ASVAB 'cause I was 10points less of the goal i needed. Lame.

But, Air Force is definitly the best choice you can do. You don't go to battle AS MUCH, as Army, Marines, and Navy do.

Personnaly I don't think anyone should go into the military if they are not willing to die for your country, if it came down to it. Are you willing? Dont join for college and definently not the money. And you shouldn't join for the training think about the intangible things that you want to gain from the air force. If you can't think of any, I would say don't join at all but if its the tangible things that you are after then you are heading in the right direction going with the air force. Boot camp is a sinch as long as you know how to follow orders.

I seem to be in the same boat as you, I scored a 90. My husband has been in the Air Force for almost a year now, and from my experience, it's a really good deal. All of his deployments are voluntary and you get to choose 60 or 120 days. He likes it, he works regular 8 hour shifts and when he's off, he's off, his time is his, or mine rather, lol. But it's something I would recommend. If I can ever get caught up with that recruiter of mine, I'm going to be joining soon.

particular it is common. Flexibility is the main as a armed forces spouse.... gotta be taught to flow with the flow. no longer relaxing yet how that's! are not getting your heart set on something or anybody duty station yet be taught to make the better of each place you're despatched. there is often reliable issues and undesirable issues approximately each and each place yet once you concentration on the reliable you have got a spectacular time! The undesirable will make you greater suitable...... Orders can substitute on the drop of a hat! the army has some thing referred to as AFTB(military relatives team development) which teaches new spouses approximately how the army works, unit enterprise, pay checks, acronyms, and so on. If the AF has some thing comparable it can be a super element so which you would be able to take! shop a magazine - I desire i could have for a number of our strikes. ought to flow lower back and write it down! Later it fairly is extremely comical. maximum suitable desires.

well partner a 92 is crazy high...congrats. im in the Air Force and i loooove it! i got a brand new house (for free), 2 new cars (that they pay for), with free health benefits, plenty of money, and a chance to serve! there is a down side though. i work on the Flightline, one of the most demanding and hardest jobs. we work long hours and put of with a lot of bullsh*t, but you do meet some of the best people in the world out there and see some cool stuff to! i am not a recruiter, but i highly recommend the Air Force

It takes children that worry about how hard something can be and turns them into citizens that are willing to sacrifice.

Seems you have a clear choice here -- Go!
