The two best tips that I can give you are to practice, practice, practice, and remember to breathe correctly. If you are not sure how,ask your Sensei (captain). Breathing is one of the most important things to learn. If you don't breathe correctly you won't have much power, and you will tire quickly. Good luck. (nikyu- brown belt, second class)

i became one step lower than from getting a black belt... Why am i no longer a black belt? My insecurities as an 11 12 months previous quite were given to me.. i could not cope with the very shown truth that i became the in basic terms woman in a thoroughly male ruled classification and that i hated stepping into the front of anybody and sparring for my section with a guy. It scared me and that i hated it so i stop..

practice won't help if you are not holding your forms correctly so it is important to have someone who knows to watch and see where your mistakes are.
