The vet will determine that but if she has double teeth (new teeth came in behind the baby teeth), yes, they will have to be pulled. My little Belle (one of my two yorkies) had to have hers pulled because she had double teeth. Please see your vet asap. Yorkies are known for building up tartar and double teeth will increase the incidence since the teeth are close together. Dental disease increases the risk of heart disease in yorkies.

Puppies adult teeth should be fully in by 6 months at the latest 8 but any later than that and you have problems. Yes you should as the mouth is crowded and tarter will have ample room grow.As it is Yorkies teeth are 42 ,the same as a wolf in a VERY small muzzle and they are known to have bad teeth genetically.Deciduous teeth as they are called is a inherited congenital defect-life threatening-no but a very bad problem plus this causes the adult tooth to move from its position and sometimes cut into gums or the lips.I would personally remove them and I am surprised your vet did not when your pet was neutered or spayed because this is a problem that will pass to any puppies.

The roots of baby teeth should be absorbed as adult teeth erupt, but if this absorption is retarded, the baby tooth does not give way to the new tooth. Retained baby teeth can cause a bad bite -- a malocclusion -- that can lead to tooth decay and other problems later on. If a baby tooth does not fall out when the adult tooth grows in, it should be removed.....
Consult a vet, they will be able to tell you if it is cause for concern yet or not.

Don't ask a bunch of uneducated people about a procedure like that. Consult your dog's vet-that's the only person you should seek advice from.

the vet can check her out and decide whether to pull them or not. They still may come out on their own.

Most vets will pull them when she is being spayed. We did it for free since they were already under anesthesia.
