Very! If you want to opt for a darker color, go for a deeper shade of brown, and go to the pros so it looks good.

Yes, it will be hard to change it back if you don't like it ,you will have to use hair color stripper and that does damage the hair. Why don't you try a darker brown to begin with and not the black.

try this product called ColorFlirt (i think its called that it has the word flirt in it) its in kind of a shiny maroon-ish box. its right next to all of the other hair dyes and you apply it just like you apply regular hair dye. it'll give you the true color that you want but it will start to fade after 2 or 3 washes and then be completley out in 10-12 washes. i dyed my hair brunette from blonde with that stuff and didn't like it too much and it all washed out and i still have the blonde hair ive had all my life which i appreciated more after i spent a week or two of it being brunette.

try that before you dye your hair permanently to see if you like it and then you wont have to worry about getting it out!

yes! black is the hardest color to get out of your hair once you put it in. my older sister (also with medium brown hair) tried to color her hair black, didnt like it, and spent a LOT of money and about 4 or 5 trips to the salon throughout a year to get the black color out. so be VERY careful if youre thinking about doing it!

No, it will just take while to get it lighter again. You will either have to wait until it fades out or you can go to a salon to get it professionally lightened via highlights, going back every month (to avoid damage) to get more and more until you get back to your desired lighter colour/orelse by then you can dye it. Dying it light yourself will NOT work, it will just turn orange. Don't even try bleaching it yourself because you will just damage your hair. They key is to gradually go lighter from dark hair.

Yes it would exspecially if u use a permanet hair color or even if you use a demi or semi-permanet hair color on your hair if it has been previously bleached your hair will absorb moisture quick. you wil have to bleach it back and so forth. It can get very expensive and if you don't have the money please don't do it exspecially your self.

Yes! Don't do it! I had to spend almost $250.00 to have my daughter's hair stripped to get it back to a reddish brown.
