Hey, I was wondering if I should pay for the movie. I asked this girl to come with me and a buncha friends to see Pirates of the Carribean 2. She has a boyfriend but he's in a different country. She likes me, but I have only heard this from her friends.

I think since we are not in a relationship yet, and she still has a boyfriend, then we should each pay for our own.

What do you think?

when you ask her to go to the movies did you make sure that she knew it was a "group" thing? if you did then it would be a nice gesture to offer to get her ticket. if she says that she's got it then don't worry. if she seems awkward at ticket buying time then maybe just get her a ticket to avoid embarrassing her. i guess it all depends on how much you like her and if you might try to see her outside of group activities sometime. remember, you could always get her a pop or share popcorn with the excuse of you were in line to get a snack anyway !! good luck!

I think you shouldn't be taking her out to a movie. Instead, do this. Rent a movie. Not a good movie. A chick flick, like the english patient.

The next time you see her, walk right up to her and tell her you like her. Talk with her a bit. Then casually mention that you've rented a movie and suggest she come home with you to watch it.

When you get home, you may or may not watch the movie. You are there to **** her and she knows that she is there to have sex with you. Women need a society approved excuse to come over to your place but know that the reason is to have sex. Screw her brains out. Ignore the fact that she has a boyfriend (she does not care about this in the slightest) especially if she brings it up. Her bringing it up is a test of the steel content of your balls. You pass the test by simply ignoring her when she brings it up and moving on with the seduction.

After you ****** her a few times, it's OK to take her to a movie and pay if you want. But, not before.

wait, did u say pirates of the caribbean 2, dont EVEN GO DO NOT. that movie was worse than the first one, u should wait until friday and take her to Little Man or just go watch superman, it is way better than pirates of the caribbean, plus its 2:30 minutes so ull be in there for a long time and she will get bored, i took my girlfriend and we had to leave she was bored, i was bored too. and yes u should pay for the movie not her.any real gentleman would pay for a ladies ticket or food or whatever.

No, I agree with you. It would be different if you two were going out with eachother then you should pay for her. But your just going as friends so its not nesessary to pay for her.

*Pirates of the Caribbean 2 is really good*

If you asked her then you should pay. You should interest in wanting her there and it would be impolite to make her pay after you invited her.
She may be checking to see what kind of man you are! If you want to impress her, pay!

I don't think you should. If she were single it would be different because "date" is somewhat implied by the invitation. But since she isn't single, I think it may be wise to let her pay for her own. But that's just my opinion.

The etiquette dictates that if you do the asking, you should at least OFFER to pay. She may say, no and then there ya go.

You should offer to pay since you invited her, but if she refuses then don't argue and let her pay for herself. You want her to feel comfortable with you.
