Put your favorite music on cd. Think of the somes that really gets your adrenaline flowing and makes you want to get up and dance. Let the last song be a slow jam that you can cool down to.

I switch up a few short songs that are over quickly and then throw on one really long song that I know all of the words to. That way, it goes by much faster and you feel accomplished when you get through that one long song. I usually play metal and punk, but sometimes classical really gets me going too. Knowing the words helps I think, or the piece in detail, kind of like when running by familiar landmarks vs. unfamiliar territory, as you hit those musical landmarks, you make the time go by faster.

Check out Shape Fitness Music CDs, and then download those songs. I love their Pure Rock CD, and use it all the time. It's got Huey Lewis "Heart of Rock n Roll," Robert Palmer "Simply Irresistable" just to name a couple. I also like Matthew Wilder's "Nothing Going to Break my Stride" and Kenny Loggins "Danger Zone" and "I'm Alright."

You could put some of that Techno crap on. It is annoying of and in itself, but it certainly is quick paced.
Are you looking for something like running or extreme high intensity of something for walking or riding?
As far as Rock --- Disturbed, Green Day, Motley Cru , Godsmack, Audio Slave (have both intense and more laid back music you can walk to),
What type of music do you like to listen to the most? You really want the artists that motivate you.

I would say the workout music because it will help you exercise more, and have more energy. Or depending on what type of music it is that you like..you could listen to your music after your workouts to help you relax.
