ahh....I know this one....I know this one....ummm. O'k. I'll be serious for once in my life and actually use the MS in Counseling degree. Well, here it is...
You will continue to give this person "chances" until you are ready to move on. You might have to reach "rock bottom." Good luck to you.
My questions for YOU are: ..."What keeps you in this relationship and what STOPS you from moving on?"

Something to think about. We are all glasses of water...while some might think their full at 3/4 of a glass..others might believe their full when the glass is overflowing. If you don't understand that...we all have different limits, how many chances we'll give someone. You might have had enough of giving someone a "second" chance after 10 times..it might take me 20 before I get to that point. No-one can answer ...when is enough, enough?...except you!

Hey a person who keeps messing up does not necessarily make him a bad person. I'm sure you don't do the right thing all the time. Hey if he keeps messing up and he keeps coming back, that just means that your the one for him. After tasting all the ice cream in the store, he still prefers you. If you love him, you would love all of him, including his faults. So give him infinte chances.

If they "keep" ******* up , I'd say you have your answer. And that you have already given too many chances. Best to break free now.Wish you luck.

It depends on how they are screwing up, if it is minor things that you can overlook then give them as many chances as you feel you can without being a fool, if it is like cheating or abuse I'd only give them one chance, because out of respect for myself and my wellbeing I'm not going to put up with it, if it affects your trust and they keep doing it over and over and they know how you feel and what it is doing to you then as hard as it might be to do it you need to get out and let them go.

As many as feels right. The moment it stops feeling right giving them another chance, kick them to the curb.

Just 2, there would be no third chance if they mess up the second time.
