i thought only the dentist was suppose to put them on.my mom says its illegal.what do you think? i guess they dont have the right training or something. Is part of my mouth illegay done?

I think that the orthodontist is the one who is supposed to glue the actual brackets in place, but the assistant does the archwire and the little color band things.

The assistant should not put in your braces PERIOD!
You need to find another clinic NOW!
To support what braces will do for your teeth, learn to play any instrument the has a mouth piece like the French Horn.
Holding that type of instrument to your lips and the pressure required to play it supports what braces for the teeth are all about. It helps over time!

no only the orthodontist is supposed to remove them unless the
assisstants are trained in this area.
