It wont affect the baby. Baby can sleep whenever it wants to right now. Even if you cant sleep, though, rest whenever you can and lay down or put your feet up during the day, for your benefit. Your body is designed to provide everything the growing baby needs, even if it leaves you lacking. Take good care of yourself. (I'm sure you already heard that). Good luck!

Could be stress. How far a long are you? there are different stages that can affect you in different ways.. My best advice is stay up to date with your OB..Stay away from caffeine if you can cause if you are stressed this can increase the stressful emotion, thus keeping you awake more..and watch for extreme fatigue during the day because this can be a sign of several issues.
Keep a journal of any issues you may be having both medical and emotional because getting it out on paper not only reminds you to bring it up at prenatal appointments, but it lightens the load of it on your mind (your mind now sees the issue as dealt with) and this leads you to stress less about things.
Any serious symptoms should be addressed with OB right away though.

No the baby will be fine. But you on the other hand need your rest. There will be many sleepless nights once the baby gets here! Try to take naps whenever you can. Also ask your doc about taking tylenol pm my doc suggested it.

No it is normal believe it or not and you need to work in a nap everyday. It's kinda like nature getting you ready for the sleepless nights ahead when your little one arrives. You might try to change your nightly routine to see if that might help tho. Have your husband rub your feet and belly with lavender and chamomile lotion. Good luck

It wont affect the baby because baby sleeps whenever it wants. I was told by my nurse that unisom is ok to take and if you are in your 2nd or 3rd trimenster you can take Tylenol PM, that should help you fall asleep!!!

that's not bad, it's just practice for when the baby comes, don't worry! it's hard to sleep when you're preg., I'm down to about 3 hrs out of 24 now, it sucks! you finally get comfortable and have to pee! or the baby wakes up and won't let you sleep! it's only the beginning!

it probably won't affect the baby, but you really need to get more sleep for yourself. being pregnant is hard enough when you do get sufficient sleep. plus, once the baby is born you won't be getting too much sleep, so you want to get as much in as you can now!
