It takes a lot of money, and a great lawyer to change a child's name on a birth certificate. and if he is going to go threw all that work, If he isn't on the birth certificate then he will have to pay for a blood test.
It is a lot of time and money but it can be done.
I don't know your situation but if that is all you have to worry about I would be thank ful. because chances are if he told you he was going to do this, it is to scare you...nothing more or less.

I thought that if he was named on the birth cert. as the father, isnt it supposed to be his? Unless he terminates parental rights? If you didnt list him as the father, I dont know.
