Well, it wasn't as likely as encountering Agent Orange by someone from the Marines or Army or Air Force but the inland Navy was certainly exposed to it.

I was stationed at Camp Holloway, 30 miles from the Cambodian border. There were many Navy S-Boats patrolling the river all the way from Pleiku and into Cambodia (and, yes, we were sending American servicemen into Cambodia illegally). Both the Army and the Air Force, flying out of Pleiku AB, dumped Agent Orange along the border to slow down the VC crossing it.

Lots of sailors saw action in the Vietnam War. Corpsman, See bees, and the brown water navy. And any other person in country could have contact with agent orange. plus contact from the shipping of it over seas.

Depends on the unit. If they were sitting on a ship 100 miles off the coast, none. If they were seabees, or seals or anyone that was physically in the country, chances are just as great as anyone else in country

They would have had to be off the ships and on land and in the jungle area where it was droped ( to kill plant life)

It could have been on some of the planes ( being droped from)
I am not sure if they droped any from planes being flown off of air craft carriers or not ??
