Qantas - an Australian carrier - is still the only airline to never have an accident/crash or hijacking.

Depends from what point of view you look at that question.
Considering crashes, there are several airlines who have never had any major problems.
Considering safety on board the airlnes differ a lot.

Some say that the Israelian airline El Al is the safest. Why? Because they interview every single guest before the plane takes off. This can take up to half an hour per person. Anyway. I weouldn't like that.

I would say the safest airlines are Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines and Air France.

Go to Airsafe.com or type in whats the safest airline. Southwest airline is the only airline that has been open since 1971 and had NO Crashes. All those other ones have been open for like a couple years so they haven't had time to really crash, but look on the net like I have been doing because I was amazed when I saw there record. Oh and I saw American Airlines had OMG SO many crashes within like 10 years. i think it was like 13 so don't fly them I know I'm not gonna!!!

Actually, Qantas has had crashes, just no fatal crashes since 1951 or with a jet aircraft. They've also had a number of non-fatal accidents since then to include overrunning a runway in Bangkok in Sept '99, damaging the aircraft enough that it was widely suggested that the plane be written off as a complete loss, but Qantas refused in order to keep their "safety record" intact

There is not a single airline which is not having any safety equipment installed and planes are always in good conditions but if ,the plane have to crash ,it will no one can prevent it because no one knows what will happen next in life.
i think airlines are much safer than our bathroom.
so go on take lisence and fly , ENJOY THE LIFE.

There are actually a lot of airlines that have a perfect safety record. If you use past incidents as a predictor of future ones, then that's one way to look at it but also remember that past incidents may make an airlines attempt to increase its safety record beyond others.

we could see, Delta flies sort of ninety MILLION passengers consistent with 12 months and that they have got had 0 fatalities interior the final 8 years. they have had precisely 7 deadly injuries interior the final 40 years, wherein era they have flown infinite hundreds of thousands of flights. you should be apprehensive with reference to the vehicle trip to and from the airport, no longer flying. There are approximately 37,000 site visitors fatalities each 12 months interior the u . s . a ., that's the equivalent of a Boeing 747 crashing and killing all of us aboard each 3 days, 12 months around. It would not ensue. you have a much better probability of being struck and killed by way of lightning than you have of being in an plane accident on your lifetime. fact. loosen up and have a effective trip.
