i was talking to one of my boyfriend's ex...whom we went to school together and graduated with. and she asked me why i was still with him for. then she also said that our relationship wasn't real because all we were doing was writing each other and talking on the phone. *he's in the army*
did she say this because she thinks we should break up or is she just jelous that we are actually staying together and are doing wonderful?

She is bored with her life and is jelous of the fact that you are able to and want to have a relationship with your boyfriend. Your strength is perhaps enviable to her. Ignore her. Stay focused on you and your man. If she starts asking you questions about your life--start asking her similar questions. This will put and end to it. Take care.

Saying that a relationship is not real because one partner is in the military is an insult to all of our soldiers overseas or stationed away from home who work very hard to not only defend our country, but to keep a relationship/family together. It also does a dishonor to the men and women who are left behind who miss their military spouse/partner terribly and make an incredible effort to maintain the relationship.
Your boyfriend's ex did say this out jealousy. She also said it out of stupidity and immaturity. She wants him back and in an effort to malign your relationship ending up insulting those who give her the freedom of speech to say such ignorant things. Please try to ignore this type of nonsense. Why on earth would you EVER listen to you b/f's ex!! Of course she said it out of spite and jealousy...your man is in the army stand by him and don't let that ***** come between you. i think that she's just jealous and insecure. just ignore her...she'll soon get tired of doing that because she knows its pointless and it doesnt have any effect on you or on your relationship. Just dont believe everything you hear from her because maybe she'll try to make up silly stories just for you to get mad at your boyfriend and try to break up. Just trust your boyfriend (if he's really worth it)and continue on. stay where you are and you'll do just fine. some people just dont have anything better to do....but you know better than that.

Well she is just curious how can a relationship last where there is such as gap in between. She couldn't withold such a gap and thus caused their breakup and she thought you couldn't too.....don't be over sensitive, sometimes others do not know how to phrase their questions in a proper way.
