and Fred Phelps

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwVk5eJCb8Q&search=Fred%20Phelps

For you who dont know, Fred Phleps created the group "God Hates Fags" and is the single most reason why I believe Christianity is evil. Most of the people are decent good people, but this is what happens when you become an extremist, which basically comes from rejecting what you are being educated and put all your trust in God.

If any of you God Hates Fags people are here, if you ever protest at a soldiers funeral near me, I will come and bash every one of your skulls in. You are evil, and had I the power, I would send you to Tehran.

Any other opinions?

faithfullyyours, one day, in your sleep you are going to be taken. You are going to awake in a plane, and you are going to be dropped, via parachuted crate, into the middle of Tehran.

Have fun making it out of the country, let alone the crate, alive :)

You are evil, close minded and in serious need of readjustment.

I have not, and have never been religious. In fact, I really did not care about it, I was content being an atheist in the closet without letting anyone know it. When the persecution of the gays began, I knew it was time to declare a personal war on religion. These people are just the reasons why. So, dont ever ask me to just try it, dont try to convert me and dont EVER EVER EVER say I hate God because I will never say that. I hate no person, no idea, and no fictional concept. I may dislike them, but I NEVER hate.

Don't confuse Fred Phleps for a Christian. He is not!!!!!!!

What He claims is not of Christ. Simple test, weather you believe or not doesn't matter, Look at the teachings of Jesus, then look are Fred Phleps. Big Big Difference!!!!

Christ would never do the things that Fred Phleps does. See if one profess a faith in Jesus then They are suppose to use his life as the model. Show me where Fred Phleps has done that. By your actions the world will know.

I am A Hardcore Biker who profess a faith in Jesus. I wear Christian Colors (Ministry Patch) on the back of my leather vest. Not as a fashion statement but as a target. Any question if I am real about my faith are not answered by my words but by my actions. Word ring hollow, but action speak loud and true. I tell others to watch me, judge my walk, see if they mirror what I claim. In the world in which I live, if you claim you better live it. People are watching me and you can but I am being judged. It is call accountability. Do you think in a world of outlaw bikers I would be allowed to fake it? Think about it? That is the life I have chosen and that is where I am judged. I will let my actions speak for me. there you will know.

Fred Phleps is not A Christian, no way and you will know it by his actions. He lives a lie.

I am very sorry, but Christianity isn't Evil... FRED Phelps is. Just like Hitler.... You can't judge all by a very demented few who are pure evil. People who twist the Bible to fit their own views. These deceivers feel if they trick people into believing God is on their side, then no one can stand against them. The signs they have the children hold... bone chilling. No! CHRISTIANS do not support the Fred Phelps cult.

I know this isn't really the response you wanted. You poured your heart out and I poured mine. You have a right to be offended by Mr. Phelps and disgusted. So am I.

These people may claim to be Christians, but by their behavior I can assure you that they are not. A true Christian would not act like an evil abomination, which is how they are acting. I am disgusted every time I see them because it is evil people like them that give the good Christians a bad name. Shame on them...one day they will meet their maker and won't they be surprised to see the down button being pushed. I would love to see the looks on their faces. Peace!

A few human beings who get confused (by the devil) make mistakes--okay, probably more than a few. I am very sorry for your experiences. To be truly Christian, one must embrace the spirit of Christ who does not exclude any person from His love. God forgives the sinner that is truly repentent of his/her sins.

Homosexual behaviors are sinful. But that does not give anyone the excuse to hate another human being.

Hateful attacks on homosexuals are sinful. But that does not give anyone the excuse to hate another human being.

First, when used in this context, Fag is a very derogatory term (several of my friends who are gay call themselves and each other fags with great affection).

As for Mr. Phelps... while I am sure he thinks he's right, the only thing God "Hates" is sin. And while there are those who attempt to present God as a Gay-bashing diety, ready to strike down homosexuals from his throne, the truth of the matter is God is perfectly content to wait until Judgement day to collect the debt that is due from each of us... Romans 6:23 says the wages of sin is death... not the wages of homosexuality... the wages of SIN... all sin... sexual sins, property sins, personal sins... all of them...

The flip side of that verse (still Romans 6:23) says "but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." notice, there is no special exclusion toward homosexuals... it is open to everyone...

I would ask this: People who want to understand Christianity should seek answers from the Bible... not from books and authors that teach hatred and alienation.

God loves all of us... IN SPITE of the things that we do... He is ready and waiting for all of us to come to Him.

So, because two people misrepresent God, you decide to hate God? That does not make sense!!! Why not despise the actions of despicable people, and honor the good deeds of those who risk their lives to do good?

That is like saying: because 5 American soldiers raped an Iraqi girl and killed her family, that all Americans are rapists and murderers.

Do the math. Does it make sense?

You poor thing. It sounds like you are in a lot of pain and have a lot of anger which cannot be good for you. Nobody can make you feel this way but yourself. Let go of the pain and anger and focus on the positive things in your life. You will live longer and might even find some happiness......Peace!

I am not an atheist, I am Pagan, but I understand your feelings. I despise those that preach hate against certain groups of people. I have lots of gay friends, and I love them all.
