because maybe a person would want 2 hot dogs to eat by itself. and 8 to eat together.

We do not know why all bakeries do not offer hot dog buns with eight or ten buns per package. Our products are currently available in six, eight and ten count packages. Retailers determine which items they will stock.

Not all hot dogs are eaten in a bun. So it seems logical 20% of hot dogs will not go into a bun. I like to chop them up and mix them with beans. Yum!

That has always bugged me too....I think both hot dog and bun companys are together on this to make more money off us

Don't be naive! The companies work together as a team to assure more money in their pockets. It is all about double teaming nowadays. (Ex: Tide and Febreez;Doritos and Pepsi;Sprint and Nextel)
