Better is definitely going to be a personal choice for you.
You should go to the akc.org website and read up on both breeds. They were bred for different reasons and have very different personalities, coat types, temperaments, etc.
Yorkies are a terrier - much more prone to digging and terrier behavior.
Chihuahua's can break their legs and get major injuries much more easily as they are more fine boned than most Yorkies.
Do your research.. you will be much happier with your decision if you make the best one for you.

They are both about the same, but as a vet tech, I have seen a lot more friendly outgoing Yorkie's than I have chihuahua's.

All types of humans will like different types of dogs, but before you adopt or buy one.. read up first and decided which dog is your fave. For me, i have a jack russell terrier..

i have a yorkie and i wouldnt trade him for any other kind of dog ever!he is the cutest most loveable pooper in the world!!

for me? a yorkie, chihuahuas are ok, i have owned one before, never again...

chichuaua..yorkies are hard to maintain....and have an annoying bark..
chichuauas have a NOT so annoying bark..but there alot more friendly

That's just silly..."better" at WHAT? "Better" for WHO?? That's why there are 200+/- breeds;so folks can find one that suits THEM! Go do your homework at the AKC site.

yorkie duh! yorkies are so cute. chichuaus are ugly sometimes.
