How high is a volleyball net? Also, how high do you think I need to be able to jump to block a ball? I'm about 5'3".

for women it is 7ft 4in and 3/4 of an inch
for men it is 8ft high!
this is from memory so i hope it is still accurate:)
to block a ball your hands and part of your forearms should be over the net...you have to measure how tall you are with your hands up and then subtract that number from the net height to find out how high your vertical jump has to be! i hope this helps :)

My school's volleyball net is 7ft and you would probably have to jump pretty high to block a ball

the hight of a volleyball net is for woman about 1,24cm.
and it does not depend of how tall you are, it depend of how high you can jump. and if you practise it a lot you will be able to block a ball. it´s not so hard :)

for women and kids it's 7 ft. For Blocking you need to get your whole hand over the net. I say you need to jump about 2ft 3in.

yes you prolly would be able to if you csn jump high.. it is normally about 6 feet or underish.
