I think this kind of broad generalisation is not healthy. There is good and bad in every religion, every one and every thing.
Peace!

I'm sorry my dear, but you're mistaken. First of all, there are a large number of different types of Wicca, and far from all of them believe in the Greek Gods and Goddesses. Some worship the Celtic Pantheon, some Roman, some Norse, etc etc etc. Secondly, not all Wiccans practice witchcraft. Most do but not all. Thirdly, witchcraft has nothing to do with Satan, and Wiccans don't even believe in Satan or the concept of absolute evil. Satan is a belief of Christians, not Wiccans. Fourth, Wiccans do not believe that all their troubles will disappear with a wave of a magick wand. In fact, Wiccan Priests and Priestesses teach their students that magick should be used as a last resort, once all other options have been tried. And lastly, we are certainly aware that we must take responsibility for our actions! One of the laws we live by is the Threefold Law, which states that anything we send out into the world, good or bad, will return to us magnified by three! This makes it so that we are VERY careful in what we do, whether it be within ritual or within our everyday lives.
Blessed Be

OMG. I have attention deficit disorder so I didn't read your whole paragraph. Next time put some spaces in ti. I kept losing my place.
I think you have a misconception about us.
1. Not all of us use the Greek Dieties, although some do.
2. Not all Wiccans use magick. And the ones that do, know that Nature is about Chaos and that if you do not physically work toward your goal, it will not be accomplished. Magick instead is a puch in the right direction. Or an insight into what is unseen.
Wiccan magick is really more like active prayer.
3. We don't blame our problems on others. We know that Chaos is eminent and that bad things happen the same with good. We also believe in the Rule of Three which states whatever you send out comes back to you threefold. Therefore, if we sent out negative energy, we receive it back times three. same goes for positive energy.
4. Wiccans have a Rede which states "An Harm Ye None. Do what thou Will" With that in mind, no responsible Wiccan would cast a spell on another person without their knowledge and consent. This includes casting love spells on them. Instead, if a Wiccan is looking for love, they can cast a spell on themselves to help find their true love. Or simply to make them feel more attractive or outgoing.
5. We consider magickal energy a talent like any other. What's wrong with using our talents to get what we want?
6. I don't see what dying your hair has to do with Wicca other than I know a lot of people who are Wiccan with dyed hair. Sometimes a change in hair color helps us express what we are feeling inside. The color we are born with is simply genetics. When I was working with fire magick a great deal. I dyed my hair fire engine red with orange bangs. (Luckily Portland, OR is a pretty laid back city and you can get away with this at work in most places)
7. What people look like in Hollywood has no reflection on Wicca.
8. Wicca is a mystery religion. We are not a book based religion like christianity or Islam. Instead we rely on our own intelligence to fill in the gaps of our path. This gives the individual a very personal approach to religion.
9. Many things can ruin your life if you let them, Christianity almost ruined my life with Guilt and sexual misery. Wicca doesn't have Sins and we don't condemn sex.

I skipped over 90% of your question because, well, it wasn't really a question. Wicca is not bad. Witchcraft has nothing to do with the devil since Pagans do not believe in the Devil.
As for love spells-you cannot do a spell to force someone to love you. You can do a spell to make yourself more open to receiving love from others, but you cannot force your will upon another person. "An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"
If you want some real, unbiased, true information about wicca, go to the site below. If you want to continue to be ignorant and hateful towards it, so be it, but keep it to yourself.

Wicca is not good or bad, it is in the intent. If you put out good energy and good intents, then good will come back to you. I am a scientist and a wiccan so I am a very logical person. Wicca, in a way, can be explained by science. Science can also be explained by Wicca. It would take me days to explain. But also let me say that to say Wiccans believe in the devil is about like saying Christians believe in Bugs Bunny. They are both made up creatures that have their uses. It is much too much to explain in a single e-mail. Let me encourage you to read Silver Ravenwolf. Any of her books will help. You sound young so I would recommend starting with "teen witch". And remember that just because you choose to inform yourself by reading does not mean you believe but does mean that you have an open mind and are willing to see things from other's point of view so never be afraid to learn something new. Good luck.

Ok first off, where oh where did you get you information?? You are sadly mistaken and made a lot of ignorant mistakes. First I would like to say that I am no expert on Wicca but I did take the time to look it up and brush up on my Wicca ways.
Wiccan's do not worship the devil. They do not use magic to fix there problems with money, beauty, etc. They don't use "magic wands" this isn't Harry Potter! Wiccan's are forbidden to do harm to others.
Before you slam another religion, do your homework. Go to the link below and please try to stop this ignorance from spreading!

Okay, I don't think that Wicca's evil, but you're certainly not giving it a good name by ranting about inane things.
By the way, traditional Wicca does not worship the Greek Gods and Goddesses. Traditional Wiccans worship the Wiccan God and Goddess, whose identities are oathbound. They are henotheists, meaning they believe in the existence of all the Gods, including the Greek Gods and Goddesses, but they do not worship them as Wiccans.
Some Neo-Wiccans will worship Greek Gods or Goddesses, but it's certainly not mandatory.
And what was that about the devil? Witchcraft is non-theistic, meaning that you can believe in any religion or no religion, so you cannot say that witches believe in the devil. Certainly, there are some who do, but I would venture that most do not.

Wicca believes in Nature; not the greek gods and goddesses specifically. They worship nature and all it stands for...there is nothing wicked about it or witch craft unless you make it so. They also do not believe that " that all their probelms for money, beauty, love and so on comes at a wave of a wand and spells". I believe you may want to study on this further. I am not Wicca, but am pagan. That too is a misconstued term. People think Pagans are evil. Wicca too are Pagan. I believe we all grow in our spirituality our whole lives. We must constantly study. Open yourself to learning and not making unresearched statements.

Wicca is bad; let me ask you, do you seek the truth? The devil comes to blind and deceive those who are unaware. Pretend for a moment that there is only one God, and ask him clear your eyes so you can see, then go get a New Testament and honestly and sincerely read through the Chapter of Mark, located within the New Testament.
Go ahead, it won't hurt you and see how you feel after reading it.
INQUIRE, SEEK, READ, INVESTIGATE, AND DON'T STOP UNTIL YOU KNOW!

alright, you answered your question in the first couple of words.
Exodus 20:3
You shall have NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME.....
BAD
And by the way, Wicca is the belief that all powers are from the earth. and that all healing and magic is done from believing that the earth can give you the power to do so... Thanks
There is only ONE GOD. "Greek gods" is more than one. besides, there are no books or instructions, or any great acts that people are still witnessing to. Where are these "gods"? Mine rose from the dead and went to heaven JUST LIKE HE SAID HE WOULD!

First of all... that's like asking if Christianity,
Judaism, Hinduism, *insert religion here*, is good or evil. Who's to judge? Certainly not humans who make mistakes and are definitely anything but divinely perfect. Why don't you leave the Divine itself to figure out what it considers good and evil. Secondly, if you just came here to rant, why don't you go sign up with MySpace or Livejournal, or another blog service. Yahoo!Answers is for finding answers to questions... not for your personal blogging and raving.
