Honestly? I don't really care what they do with me. Service are for the living not for the deceased. Whatever will help ease my loved one's suffering is fine with me.

I've seen too many funerals as a church organist and they are pretty much all the same. Amazing Grace, Abide With Me, and a really teary eulogy.

I want a party! No crying, no wake, just a good old time with lots of food and happy family members. I'll take the funeral in the church, but with upbeat hymns.

And obviously somebody else playing them on the organ...

My plans are to be cremated, memorial services would not have to be within 1 or 2 days. Each day i make a quick note of the days events. I am in the process of compressing my thoughts and my family and friends have agreed to share their memories. Keep it short,
and have a calming Native American wooden flute music playing ending with the Lords prayer.
With that aside, all who come, please enjoy the company of each other, dance, sing, eat, drink and be merry. All who know me, know my love of life. I have a place i want my memorial to be, and it won't be a funeral parlor or church, Not rushing things, but your invited, it will be a blast! Try to let your wishes to be known to family, we all do not have the opportunity we had. Sudden & unexpected tragic death could be waiting for any of us.
