Kauai, Hands down! If you can afford it, then stay on the Princeville side - it's absolutely gorgeous. Not that the other side of the island is all that much cheaper, but stay in the Poipu Bay area. That's where we stayed. At the Sheraton in Koloa, Kauai. It was such a wonderful honeymoon! It is so peaceful and so quiet - there is only 1 road there! We then went to Maui next and missed Kauai so much - Maui was so commercialized. Have a great honeymoon!

If you want a quiet, romantic and secluded honeymoon with a beautiful beach, you could visit any of the Hawaiian islands, except Oahu. Lanai and Molokai are by far the most secluded. Maui has some places like Hotel Hana Maui that are secluded and would be perfect for a hideaway. Kauai is a great choice too with lots of incredibly beautiful scenery and unique ways to enjoy it. I live here and specialize in creating memorable Hawaii vacations. Feel free to contact me at info@AffordableHawaiiTravel.com

Just came back from Kauai. It is now my favorite out of the Hawaiian islands, and I've been to Oahu, Hawaii, Maui, Lanai, and Kauai! It is mostly unspoiled and breath-takingly beautiful! The Hawaiian islands are the top destination in the Pacific: 15 million visitors last year. Escape the mobs and go to Kauai. Na Pali coast is the most amazing. Want help with your honeymoon? Kauai is good.....or even Molokai if you're truly looking for a place with nothing to do after 7 pm but cuddle up under the stars. If you don't want to spend the money on the extra flights to the neighbor islands, Turtle Bay Resort or Koolina is great at providing a romantic atmosphere without the touristy pace of Waikiki. Good luck and congratulations!

we rented houses for our Hawaiian honeymoon. just google "houses for rent " on the island or part of the island you want, then sift through. there are a lot of rentals. it took us weeks to decide. i really enjoyed poipu beach, on the sunny south side of Kauai. there were some houses i saw with vacation rental signs on them, might be expensive but probably less than princeville area.

It depends on your budget. Kauai sounds like what you are looking for. If you do decide to go, make sure to buy the "Kauai Revealed" book. The information is really accurate.

I hate to be negative but I would go back to Hawaii. The flight is not worth it and there are so many more islands that are just as pretty other than going through that hell to get there. Grand Cayman Island or Aruba absolutely beautiful, Hawaii in my opinion is over rated, expensive and like I said it is hell getting there and back--not worth it.

Probably the Big Island. You may want to skip Ouahu because it is the big touristy spot (Waikiki, Pearl Harbor, Polynesian Cultural Center, etc...).
And for a gift or for yourself, check out www.breezybeachwear.com before you go! They have beautoful silk flower hair clips and beach-inspired jewelry and surf attire for men and women.
Have fun!
