At one time religious people was burning poeple at the stake because they did not believe in god or stoneing them to death. Rapping little boys and thinking that god is comming in a space ship following a comit. There are so many wrong things that has been done in the name of religon that churchs are very scary to most people. Why say you was drunk and did it and did not know what you was doing. When you can just say it is gods will.

So check out this link and my above statment and tell me why you think that this god thing that you believe in will be here in 100 years. I feel it will be found out to be a scam for power and money and will one day be ban every where. Creapy people if you ask me. .Never know what country they will try to attack next and kill everyone because someone don't believe the same way.

You guys and gals scare the hell out of me.

For the blind to the faith read this clip. It does have to do with Religion. Just simple proof of how mis guided you are.

The practice is most common in the Christian and animist South of the country, rather than in the Muslim North and Far North provinces, where only 10 percent of women are affected.

Hmmm... You have a basic problem here. I read this article, and it has nothing to do with any religion. It is simply a matter of a societal custom to protect girls that has nothing to do with religion. Granted, it is bizarre and horrible. But it is not a matter of religion.
I think if you have a vendetta against organized religion, you should find some point to make. This article does not support your wild generalizations, nor do you appear to have a point.

There are many "religious" people. I assume your questions is aimed at christians as the article specifically mentions christians. Let me ask you this: assume you are immortal. And you are redesigning your living room floor with tile. A man comes and tells you he will start it but can't finish it. He tells you that for every 100years another man will come and continue the mosaic tile design. He tells you who they are, and in the end how the design will look. Every tile man comes with the same predictions and, without knowing or meeting the man before him, finishes his portion of the mosaic tile design just as predicted by the man before him. It is this way with Jesus. Every prophet that came and prophesied (spelling?) has come to pass. How does one explain this? There is no reason to be sacred or frightened of God. You believe in demons don't you? They are hell's angels. So why don't you believe in heaven with heaven's angels? There's a leader in heaven and a way to get there. Understand?

I read the article and read what you put in your question, and I just don't see how the two correlate.
