Figure 6 diapers per day on average for the first 6 months. There are 150ish in the smallest size boxes. So, the first month you'll go through about 16 dollars worth. I have used Target brand and LOVE them.

I would like to say it's not that bad, but if your baby has sensitive skin like mine do, you'll have to spend a little more for the name brand dipes and for a month, it's anywhere from $30-$50. I got tired of spending so much on disposables I switched to cloth and got most from ebay, so they were cheaper than getting them direct from the suppliers, although they're usually used. Cloth costs more up front but they last and last.

I honestly don't remember because soooo many people bought us diapers as welcome home gifts and baby gifts. I don't think we bought any diapers until my daugther was 2 months old or so.
I would guess approximately $50-$70 depending on brand. It is best to buy in bulk at Costco or BJsb

Good luck with that budget, you have to factor in the days of diarrhea, getting soaked through, tabs breaking, etc. So figure about 100 a month if not more.
