Seriously now ....?

Have you noticed that all the imposters (I don't know how many they are, maybe one, maybe many) are all either acting like idiots, or are openly pro illegal, and try their best to discredit those who are anti illegals? And have you also noticed how they succeed throwing people off the main issue, which is that of illegal immigration, by hogging the message board with junk that is either openly defamatory, or in some instances very funny ....

But we are losing sight of what we're really discussing, namely issues having to do with immigration, legal or illegal ...

And by doing that, the imposters have won! We haven't had a serious discussion here for quite a while now ... the issue of immigration IS serious, and warrants to be taken seriously ... you can be for or against illegal immigration all you like, but are we that easily waylaid by imposters? Whose only goal IS to disrupt the debate? If we let them do that, they have won ... is that what YOU want?

Well, of course it is a tension breaker ... and of course it can be fun ... but some people who have been the target of the imposter don't seem to think so .... it's not very difficult to spot the imposters anyway ... but of late it has been a bit ... shall we say ... over the top?

I also thought if we got one- fine--if there is a lull like now anyone can throw in. What do you want to discuss? Medical-Money-Law-I'm open. Impostors ,Nasties what?

I am sick of some though-you know the ones which we have all had enough of. At least for those who are here for a time.

I agree, this is a very serious situation in our country and deserves our attention.

As far as the imposter's go, sadly...stealing identities is becoming about the easiest thing an illegal can do. On this site we are annoyed, but when Social Security numbers are snagged and people are hurt, then things get bad.

If I stole an identity, I would be prosecuted to the fullest....illegals steal peoples lives and now the Senate (their proposal) wants to give them a free pass and credit for money put in to the stolen identity.

GIVE ME A BREAK!

It doesn't matter if they clown around once in a while, after all your not going to change any ones mind on illegal immigration, your either for it or against it. I am against illegal immigration I live in San Diego and we are over run with illegals, they just broke up an encampment in the canyons of Carlsbad, of about 50 illegals on private propriety, and their are hundreds more in other areas, they use the canyons as the personnel toilet, and garbage area the police have to come a break up the camps, so the authorities no where the illegals are they just don't do anything about it.

My stand on immigration is this.

If you come over here for the hope of a good, new life, and an attempt to contribute something to our/your society, learn and respect our customs and language, then WELCOME!!!

But, if you're coming over here to mooch off of the US system and take American jobs and then send the money back to Mexico (or WHEREVER you're from doing this) to live the high life down there, and no intention to pay for your medical care, etc etc etc...then stay the heck home!

I cannot believe the amount of people saying that we Americans are intolerant...go to a foreign country that does not speak English. Unless you have USD in your hand wanting to buy, if you don't speak the indigenous language, you're ignored!!!

We should be the SAME way!

I agree. I seriously think that they can not bring up a clear objective on why they are pro illegal. When presented with facts(OMG), they begin to imitate others on here they feel more threatened by. I like real questions and reading real opinions. I noticed too, the imposter's always sound really racist, bringing up Mexico and I really don't know why. I like your Q & A!

I have been told by a reliably unreliable source that the imposters are a bunch of paid "political agitators" who dont care either way about this issue. They are just in it for the benjamins.
They have been rather effective lately havent they?
I wonder what strangeness the criminals will try next?

I've learned to give up and discredit the views of imposters, whatever their side of the issue pro or anti. I don't even reply anymore.

I have complained many times to Yahoo that they need to not allow the same name to be used by posters. Why is it so hard for them to make a rule about this? If a name is already in use, they should tell you that you have to choose another one. Just like when you choose user names for anything else on the internet.

I'm glad to see you haven't given up. Keep up the good work. And they cloud the issue or attack the messenger because they have no moral or legal base for their argument and they know it. They know what they are doing in our country is illegal in their country and they don't tolerate it there, but feel no remorse for what they do here.
