You need to be brushing 2 times a day for two minutes and flossing at least once a day, EVERY DAY!! Your gums may continue to bleed for a week or so. You also need to have your teeth professionally cleaned at the dental office. So, go make an appointment

Everyone has given good advice. Start flossing and brushing no less than 2x a day with a soft brush. Use a diluted mouth wash as full strength may sting. You can use a diluted solution of peroxide and water also. AND see your dentist.

It sounds like yoou have a serious case of gingivitis. You need to see a dentist to begin treatment and possibly have antibiotic therapy if it is bad enough.
