Okay, I have pretty much established that my co-worker, Bob, may be interested in me. He is jealous of Adam (he doesn't work with us - but we have the same crowd) whom I told him I like. He said "there are other guys" and my friend said - he means HIM.
So, if he's interested in me, how do I snag him? I suck as this stuff and quite frankly, when Bob is close to me, I go numb. A lot of girls are really sexy with him, but I'm nonchalant and my friend says that drags him in. How can I keep being me, but be flirty and get him to do something?!?! Ideas please. I can't explain how much he is making my brain hurt...

Wait a bit and see how he acts, then if the behavior persists, you've got something! Ask him out, something simple like movies or ice-cream.

I hope you get lucky!

Geezus H Christ. Just ask him out! Women almost always leave it up to the guy, and it is much harder to see what is going on from within the moment. I think back and realize lots of gals who I liked who did drop hints they liked me and I just didn't see it.

If BOTH sides would try, you would probably see twice as many happy marriages.

Ask him out. . . then you will know. Keep it simple like hanging out for coffee or lunch or seeing a movie.

If he says "no" then it will suck but at least you will KNOW and you will get over it pretty quickly (it isn't like you have years of hope and love invested in this). If he says "yes" then yippeee!

If you don't ask him and he doesn't ask you, you will wonder wonder wonder and then slowly wither when he starts dating someone else someday. The whole thing will take a lot longer with more net pain, and you not looking at anyone else for all that time. This is not a tough decision.

(Oh, and if he is turned off by women who ask men out, chances are you don't want to be with someone that insecure anyway!)
