how many people would go out to dinner with someone that just randomly asks you (say at the mall or in a gas station..and assuming you find them attractive)? why or why not?

Assuming that we would be meeting at a busy public restaurant, assuming that I would drive myself there, assuming that he had my cell phone number ONLY and not my home phone number or address, yes I'd meet him for dinner and if things didn't go well I could get up and drive myself to the home of a friend to make darn sure he wasn't some kind of pyscho stalker moron and then I would go home.

welll i have been known to go out with strangers, how will you befriend a person unless you are strangers at first. you could be someone that means stranger a strange person or just a person you would like to get to know. you know stranger danger, i tell my kids that all the time cause you never know but if you are a grown person you make that call by your instinct ya know. one time when i was not a mom or an ex wife ha ha, i called this guy. well the person i thought i called was not the right number. so the man who answered the phone just starts talking to me and after we hung up i got ready and my grandma took me up to dennys a few blocks away and dropped me off for my blind date with Jess . we dated for a little while but he did turn out to be a few cards short of a full deck but he accepted my break up peacefully.

i live in a small town, so the chances of anything bad happening would be slim. i would go, assuming it was safe. i never turned anyone down, even the people i wasn't attracted to. only because you never know who you're going to meet and if they had the nerve to ask, i have the nerve to go.

Your name sounds like a guy's name, so I'd say it's not that high a risk for you. I probably would go out with some girl who asked me in that situation. I don't think any girls should do this, however - they can't be sure what kind of guy they're going out with.

I would meet them at a public place where a large crowd hangs at. I would not let him/her know what type of car I'm driving. Also take a long a friend.

Yes! Its spontaneous...and thats cool. I would meet in a VERY public place though just in case.....but also be careful not to tell them too much in case they are a psycho.
That'd probably be really fun.
