i am looking for websites that you can go on and type your zip to get the registered sex offenders in your area. do you know any? thanks

Each state has their own website. Some, you can just look at the info. Others (like NY, I think) you have to create a login on the site, and then you can look. In any case, its free and publicly available info.

What state do you live in? Go to the Department of Corrections for that state and on the home page there should be a sex-offender locator. There is any type of offender locator on that page so I am sure there will be a sex offender.

check you local state, county, city web site and/or local police web site, depending on where you live, they list names, addresses and sometimes pics of sex offenders
