When I was a kid, my parents took me to the beach a lot. Now I have what seems to be flakes on my arms and some on my legs. A dermatologist told me several years ago it was because of sun damage years ago. Sometimes it is sooo itchy, it drives me crazy. I believe it might be considered "exima". Does anyone have any suggestions on a good over the counter relief product?

It's commonly known as "eczema". Take anti-histamines - Atarac, Zyrtec etc. Apply dermatological moisturisers that do not contain fragrance which may aggravate the itch. You would have to apply such moisturiser at least 3 times a day, or anytime when you feel itchy.

Avoid antigenic food, especially beans, nuts etc.

I have eczema as well and I use this moisturizer called Kenalog cream.(It really helps stop the itch but make sure it's prescribed by your doctor or dermetalogist).
