i want to make a upside down pineapple cake but its say i need brown sugar .... does it matter if i put normal white sugar or will the cake get wrecked??

Brown sugar carmelizes better---The only way to use white sugar would be to mix it with a couple TBSP of molasses (treacle UK)

Get some brown sugar.
White sugar will not work the same way.

Use brown sugar combine with butter makes a better tradition topping for the cake and it will taste better. Store what u don't use in the freezer for last er use.

The brown sugar is a must. It caramelizes perfectly with the butter during baking. :)

the cake won't get wrecked, but it won't taste as good. use the brown sugar.

when baking things like that you should rele use brown sugar it tastes better and cooks better in a cake
