I met my internet friend on Paltalk. Our commonality was music. After a few months of just general conversation, we started talking further. After about 6 months we started getting more serious. After knowing each other for about a year we finally met. It was with no expections, obvious hopes, but about really spending time together and seeing how we interacted together. After 9 days, I cried on my way to the airport, I cried the whole way home, My cell phone bill became huge, and being apart miserable.
Five years later our lives are very complicated, and neither of us in a postion to make a huge change in our lives, but the love is still strong, the friendship even stronger, and we both hope that before we reach old age, we can actually share a liffe together.
I am meeting someone this coming weekend that I have known on the internet for over 8 years. Just to finally meet face to face in a public place and say hello will be really nice.
I don't reccomend it for young ladies. There are alot of perverts out there. If you do meeet, make it an open public place, have no expectation, and don't upon the first meeting end up in an intimate relationship. There are sooooooooo many new STD's out there... get to really know the person well enough to be able to sit down and discuss intimacy. Did you know there are diseases u can catch now just through skin contact?!?!?!?!?
Hoping if you do meet this person, it goes half as well as my visit did.

She was just even better in person after finally meeting after meeting in Yahoo euchre and playing together and talking for about 2 years before we met.
Met about 6 or 7 times after that and we still see each other every once in awhile to this date.

I have and I 'm still with him ..but some are not as lucky as I was .I would be very careful on meeting some one on there .We get alone great we do a lot together ,,I would check them out before I meet them..Just because you here one person doing great from meeting someone off of the internet doesn't mean it will work for you.

Yes, I have before. They didn't really meet my expectations no. One I did end up dating for a few months, but it was right after I moved and I basicly just needed anyone to spend time with. It hasn't worked for me so far, but I know others who it has. My ex from college is married to someone he met on line after we broke up.

I've had 3 relationships with 3 different men online...I lived with one for about 8 or 9 months. the second guy came to my country every month for a week at a time..this lasted about 8 months. I personally havent and this is where the story gets wierd my boyfriends ex best friends girlfriend moved all the way from california to tennessee because she was online chatting with my boyfriends friends and now they are married it is so cute so it works for them
