Mesopotamia - The Land Between the Rivers, which are the Euphrates and Tigris.
But then again Texas is Between Rio Grande and the Red River. So can Texas be Mesopotamia? OH, I hate to think it.

Near the Pamir Plateau.
The plateau of Pamir is the original Eden. This probably was the homeland of Adam's descendants up until the time of the Flood. Today it’s known as the Tarim Basin or Eastern Turkestan. This region is surrounded by a ridge of very high mountains forming a gigantic basin in the midst of them. It measures 1,000 miles long and is about 350 miles wide.
