THE SIMPLE FACT IS IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT RELIGION YOU ARE, IT MATTERS OR NOT IF YOU HAVE BEEN BORN AGAIN (SAVED).

I was raised Lutheran, and until I was 10 or 11 I'd say I only had social faith. I never really believed because of my own choice. It was at that age I discovered God personally and have followed ever since.

Of course I believe in God, the scriptures clearly show that their are three divine persons, and that each has divine attributes and does divine works which only God can have or do. For this reason I believe in the triune God.

Like earlier I said I am Lutheran - Missouri Synod. But denomination is not what's important it is understanding and following the scriptures, specifically the words of Christ if you are a Christian. This is what makes someone a member of the one holy, Christian and apostolic Church. Denominational differences are mostly separated based on tradition and specific verses; a few denominations practice things that would not follow scripture though.

Other religions follow graven images and false Gods as presented clearly in the Bible. They do so because most religions besides CHristianity teach Sanctification, that is self-redemption and self-atonement. That one must redeem themself by following strict commandments and guidelines and will only receive forgiveness and salvation for the same. They are built on pride, basically I'm better than you, so I should receive a greater reward. Christianity teaches the first shall be last, and the last shall be first; that is, we all receive the same reward as Chrisitians whether we are Christian for our whole life or only the last year of our life. Simply put, other religions reject Christianity to follow pursuits that make more sense in terms of earthly concepts.

Again, the most important thing about being a Christian is adhereing to the words of Christ. Which would obviously mean one would have to also follow the words of which he spoke about from the Old Testament, so the Law, the Prophets, and the Gospels are what a Christian should consider their foundation for scripture. The Epistles, Psalms, Proverbs, and Revelation, should also be important, but are not necessary for salvation. Jesus words in John 3:16 are the most important scripture for a Christian.

I believe in God, his son Jesus Christ, and the holy spirit. I believe that Christ died for my sins and that I will be in heaven someday.
As for religions, I would not go to church until I read the bible (I chose the New International Version) and had MY OWN beliefs. The problem I see with "Religions" are that you are adapting another person's or groups' point of view on the subject. I attend (although not too regularly) a non-denominational church that just goes from the bible.
The most important thing to me about believing in God is the freedom I live in knowing that when this world passes away I will continue on. I could die tomorrow but I will live forever in God's presence.
I am not perfect, I don't think anyone is. I have some pretty big faults. I don't judge others even if I am judged first (which happens often as I have a confident demeanor about me). But when I do mess up or "sin" I know I can pray for forgiveness and will receive it.

I am an atheist. I think that all religions started because people a long time ago didn't know how to explain the world around them and now that we know more about science, religions make less and less sence (which accounts for the increase in atheism lately). I think that the only reason religions are still here is because too many people blindly believe whatever their parents tell them. I really don't mean any disrespect to religious people, that's just my honest opinion.

I was raised a Christian by my parents, but came to my own reckoning about the age of 12. Yes I believe in God and He believes in me too, He's changed my life forever. What religion? Well, I go to a Baptist church, but I don't always agree with everything the Baptists say. The most important thing about religion? The folks there worship like I do and that helps me get into closer contact with God on Sundays. It's also nice to have people to talk to about my faith.

I actually have no religious affiliation. I don't believe in God, but sometimes I feel guilty for not believing. I have heard many testimonies from people of different religions of how their god has helped them. So, I don't know which religion is the "correct" one. Christianity has way too many rules on how God can help you and how you have to behave. I know that what I said was a little confusing, but I just wanted to say that.

I am a spiritual being having a physical experience. I don't believe in religion but I don't think I have all the answers either. Some people need to be told what to do and think. I feel sorry for them and I don't ridicule them for their choices. I believe the is a benevolent power that I compare to a current in a river. We know when we are going with the current. Life is easier to handle and when things get rough, I can let go of the struggle and let the river carry me.

I think religion is a way to feel connected to the world. Personally, I feel connected without religion, but I think it is a vital part of life. Without it many people would not know where to turn in a crisis or how to act honorably and with morals. I don't really have a religion, but I'm not athiest. The closest thing would probably be agnostic, but that's not exactly it either. I don't have any problems with other religions. What bothers me is when people try to push thier beliefs on me or do stupid things in the name of their beliefs. But that's people, not religion. Hope that helps.

I love God as God is all love. I love experiencing God in my heart and mind. My religion is a religion of oneness with God. My religion is religion of self-trascendence where I strive daily to put on more of God's conscousness and less of the human.

Lastly I would say that an ounce of directly experiencing God is worth a million words or dogmas about God.

The description of God can never equal the reality!

Everyone has a different religion. And the best religion is the one that accepts all possible others as a form of describing "what is," and its possible meaning, if any...

If I say 'god,' I can garuntee that each person that reads that word, has a different thought on the symbol. Religion is basically that which walks with us "here."

I believe there is a little bit of truth in all religions. I believe God is a Divine Energy Force. And i truly believe spirituality is tortured by religion.
