I've been dating a girl for nearly a year ( I'm 23, she's 21), and it feels crappy now. I never want to spend time with her, and almost everything she does now irritates me. And quite frankly, the whole situation is really starting to drive me insane.

That's why we date and don't just get married to the first person we find attractive! Be fair to her and yourself by being honest... maybe she's feeling the same way too. Why would you stay with her when the "one" is still out there?

Hell no!

Love is supposed to make you feel very content like you've never been.
It seems that you feel this way because spending soo much time with her, knowing her for this long and seeing the way she is in every situation isn't really what you expected. That or you want something more out of this.
Try talking seriously to her, confess that you're not happy with her.
If you keep going the way you are, you'll end up feeling inprisoned with someone you might have liked before but then you saw that she wasn't really what you want.

Love shouldn't have to give you any gnasty, irritated feelings.

I was in a similar situation years ago. The guy I was dating drove me insane. I let it play out entirely too long. The longer it went on the mor eunhappy and angry I became. So I broke it off. I didn't love the guy at all and was wasting my time for nearly 3 years. After I ended it I was able to get back to my life and enjoy it again. I would suggest ending it before you become so unhappy and angry that you take it out on others that you care about.

I desire I knew... on the age of fifty one i don't have a clue. I even have enjoyed human beings, enjoyed some plenty, yet on no account are turning out to be to the element the place others clarify how its like entire ecstasy or questioning of them 24 hrs an afternoon. I nonetheless do no longer think of i've got ever been in love till now.

I wish I could tell how it is suppose to feel for your age but I'm only 17 all I can tell you is how it is for me. For me it takes me only five months to fall in love with somebody. It depends on the boyfriend that I have. If he's anything like the one I have now I will love him forever. Most guy leave girls after they get them pregnant but my boyfriend stay with me all the way now we've together for about two years now. I got pregnant when I was 15 and I had the four months before I turned 17( I was 16). But me and my boyfriend are still together.

I think you two need to split up then because it sounds like neither of you are benifiting from the relationship. I think you should break up but remain friends so she doesnt feel so bad. Tell her she was a great girlfriend but it just isnt working out and she should find someone knew because she is a truly amazing gal. And remember if your questioning the realtionship mabye its not her that has the problem it could be you.

it isnt supposed to be like that.

its best if you talk to her and let her know how you feel as well as to know how she feels (and if she feels the same way as you do) so that both of you can figure out what might be wrong.

since you have been dating her for a year, you must have really love her to be with her for that long. (this is just an assumption).

only the both of you would know your situation best 'cos the both of you are in this. no one would know better. do talk to her. dont waste a relationship. always make the best out of everything :)

good luck! do update us! :)

Ah sounds like to me an emotional break is in order or maybe a talk i know your a guy but telling her may reveal the real problem you are having some days it just seems like everyone gets on my nerves but actually it may just be one thing that i cant seem to let go. try that and if it doesnt work maybe you need to call it quits

Not much info here.....but I'd say something's changed in how you see each other. Maybe you both went for looks first, and worried about personality and compatibility much later in the game?

Anyway, love should be contentment if not all-out bliss. Sounds like you're far away from either. Sorry, man.......

That was because you both got caught up in the newness. If this is how you feel, then you need to be honest and tell her how you feel. To be really in love with someone, you need to accept the person for who they are. Unfortunately, you are not accepting it now. Love was never there to begin with.
